Transaction Refund Confirmation: What to Expect

How do transaction refunds get confirmed?

A transaction is confirmed as refunded when the refund process has been initiated and the transaction status updates to Refunded. For mobile top-up transactions, the status can be tracked in the Reloadly Dashboard under Reports → Airtime. Refunds for unsuccessful operator-side transactions are completed within up to 72 business hours.

When is a refund initiated?

A refund is initiated when a transaction is confirmed as unsuccessful due to an issue on the mobile operator’s side. Once initiated, the transaction status will change to Refunded after the process is completed.

How can you check the refund status?

1. Open your Reloadly Dashboard.
2. Go to Reports.
3. Select Airtime.
4. Check the transaction status.

How long does the refund take?

Refund completion can take up to 72 business hours before the status is reflected as Refunded.

What happens after the refund is processed?

Once the refund is completed, the transaction status is updated to Refunded.

What if the transaction was successful?

Successful transactions are not eligible for refunds.
