YOU'LL NEED Your phone |
Short answer: yes, your Swype card works with both Apple Pay and Google Pay. Whether it actually goes through on your specific phone depends on your device, your region, and wallet eligibility — most people won't run into any of that, but it's worth knowing.

Adding your card to a wallet |
Since your Swype card is virtual, you already have everything you need to add it — the full card number, expiry, and CVV are right there in your dashboard:
|
1
|
Open the Apple Wallet or Google Wallet app on your phone |
|
2
|
Tap "Add card" and choose to enter details manually |
|
3
|
Enter your card number, expiry, and CVV from your Swype dashboard, then verify if prompted |
| ② |
If it doesn't work |
A small number of things can stop a wallet from accepting the card, none of which are about your account being broken:
| ● | Device support — very old phones may not support Apple Pay or Google Pay at all |
| ● | Region — wallet availability varies by country, independent of Swype |
| ● | A new card after expiration — if you get a replacement card, you'll need to add it to your wallet again since it's a different card number |
Good to know: once it's added, you can tap to pay in stores the same way you would with any other card in your wallet — nothing about using it is different just because it started out virtual.
